Family Vacation 2010 Audio – Listen To Some Great Lessons Here!

Audio from the weekend’s retreat is up.

Family vacation is an annual retreat held each year in Pensacola, FL in early January. Designed by the same minds that bring you the CMU Workshops, Family Vacation is designed to motivate and equip students to reach their respective campuses with Jesus going into the spring semester. Our prayer is for students to leave with an evangelistic fire lit in their hearts. Here is a sample of what worship was like.

Great lessons were shared! Everyone who attended left excited and fired up to reach out:

All these and more can be found on the CMU Audio/Video page. Don’t worry, you’ll never be charged for content coming from a Campus Ministry United event.

Please share these lessons with others who would benefit from them.

The Preachers are Retreating! And other tidbits

No, I don’t mean preachers are cowering in fear running away from life with their tails between their legs. I do mean about 50 preachers from this region of the country are headed away from civilization  for a few days, and I’m going with them.

I’ve been informed the San Leandro Church owns a very nice retreat center nestled in the mountains of California’s gold country. We’ll be putting that retreat center to good use through Wednesday. Looking forward to learning and making some new friends.

75 people showed up for services at Lake Merced yesterday. We actually ran out of seats in our new worship center at one point. Our little church is growing!

Greg posted a story about throwing potatoes at old ladies.

Reminds me of the of time as a young teen I caused a commotion at a Harding University Bible Camp (Uplift 1995) by hitting a man with a water balloon from the third floor of the Heritage Inn. Maybe I’ll share that story sometime.
