Why do some persons “find” God in a way that others do not? Why does God manifest His presence to some and let multitudes of others struggle along in the half-light of imperfect Christian experience? Of course, the will of God is the same for all. He has no favorites within His household. All He has ever done for any of His children He will do for all of His children. The difference lies not with God but with us.
~A.W. Tozer, The Pursuit of God
Tozer is right – God is available to all who seek Him. The problem is many never do.
Urge someone to seek God today. You’ll be glad you did. 🙂

I’m back from the woods. The preacher’s retreat was good fun!
We studied John 7 last night at church. I love 7:37 – it is so invitation. It is so open and honest…all you have to do is thirst for what he has to offer. The offer was open to the Pharisee, scribe, the crowd, the temple guards, all. What was being offered, living water is quite an amazing thing to offer for such a reasonable price.
But you have to have the “want to.”
Tis true 🙂
