Is that drummer left hand thing really true? If so, that’s really helpful to this white boy. My strategy tends to be to “clap” my hand against the side of my leg. That way, I get to participate without my beat-misses causing problems. 🙂

I used to be rhythmically challenged like you, but then I married a black woman and suddenly could clap on beat. Really weird.
