I found this picture posted on Matt Dabb’s blog.
I like how they added the “welcome” there at the end.
Anyone know where this was taken?

not sure where the picture was taken, but i do happen to know that this church is not holding its sunday services at the scripture-approved times. everybody knows churches of Christ are supposed to worship at 10 and 6 on sunday — with bible class at 9. what a shame to waste such a good evangelism and outreach marquee on a church that doesn’t know when God wants them to get together….
i bet they don’t offer communion on sunday night to the people who missed in the morning either.
do they worship in that trailer in the pic there? cause stop drop and roll don’t work in that thing when its on fire either!
had to be some editing done on this thing or something. Who doesn’t have a Church name out of all the Church of Christers out there?
I don’t think this was Photoshopped, Seth – lots of little country churches just have the name “Church of Christ” on their sign. I’ve seen lots of them.
James, you have a valid point. The real question, however, is whether or not men who stand at the Lord’s table have to wear ties.
Church of Christ is the only biblically approved name. Well, that and Church of God, but we know they aren’t going to heaven so who cares if they have a scripturally approved name or not. Kidding…kidding!
if i were a betting man, i’d put money on it being one of the congregations approximately every 5 miles between florence and huntsville on highway 72, and that’s not counting another 12 i personally knew off just a mile or two off the highway, i actually am thinking of one particular congregation, seems like there was a trailer across the road from them…
oh, google earth! if i can verify it, i’ll come back with the answer, what’s my prize though?
I’ll give you a high five – deal?
