suhweet! i was there, but somehow i don’t remember seeing the final product of this video, the cso (uahuntsville, aamu, et. al.) had like 8 or 7 baptisms that weekend, another 4 or 3 in other ministries who were there, i love collegians!
Ah… I was having my blood pressure anomaly / heart arrhythmia at that time. Funny how it worked out. I hated missing even that fraction of the weekend and didn’t want to miss more. (I hate how long you have to wait in ER’s only to find out nothing. Sometimes.) I prayed about it and checked my blood pressure / heart rate again when I arrived at the hospital but before I went in, and everything had settled down. (The usually reliable Google maps on my Droid X phone kept misdirecting me. That extra time probably gave my system time to settle down.) I missed the video, but I was able to stay up the rest of the night for the early morning baptisms.

Several told me it was the best retreat they’d ever gone to, and that’s saying a lot because these particular people have been to many.
Next’s year will be even better. God is doing something special in Campus Ministry. Get on board and enjoy the ride. I AM!
